Where to stay in Spetses
The majority of the nicest villas and hotels are located in the old harbour and new harbour, which is called Dapia.
In these two places, you will find old, wonderful and renovated mansions but also small apartments and studios.
There are some settlements that you can book outside the main town, but you might feel a little bit isolated and the options are not so many.
Best Hotels in Spetses Island
1. Poseidonion Grand Hotel – Dapia

No list with the best hotels in Spetses cannot start without Poseidonion Grand Hotel.
It is a truly iconic place, and it feels like you are staying at a traditional old mansion!
The breakfast is really delicious, and I strongly recommend getting a SPA treatment, as all staff members are very professional and know their job!
All members of staff are very professional and helpful.
Location-wise, the willingness of staff to guide around the island and the feeling of the place makes this hotel quite special!
Also, this hotel was one place, where The lost daughter” with Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Dakota Johnson, Ed Harris was filmed! We know that because while we visited the island in September 2020 we saw the crew members and cameras. Unfortunately, we didn’t spot any of the main Holywood actors!
2. Orloff Resort – Old Harbour

This is a quiet and comfortable hotel, which is well-placed for the old port restaurants, though a longer walk from the bustle of the new port (20′ walk and 3′ motorbike).
The hotel’s design is fantastic, in a magically landscaped garden with neat decoration and a lovely pool!
The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle for arrival and departure at the port! More Information Here!
3. Economou Mansion – Dapia

This is just a wonderful place to stay! The mansion has been built around 170 years ago, but the rooms are stunning and in excellent condition for a building built in the 1850s!
The enclosed courtyard feels very special with a lovely pool!

12.Armata Boutique Hotel – Dapia

It is a pleasant surprise in the centre of Spetses, especially entering the hotel and smelling all flowers.

Last but not least, it provides an exceptional breakfast as most of them are homemade with a great variety of pies, handmade jams (the fig is perfect!) and a variety of cheeses. More Information Here!
