Usually, we stay inside Mykonos town, as we prefer to be in the hustle and bustle. But this works for us! Some people prefer to stay at a quiet place in front of the sea and can easily drive into the town.

Where should you stay in Mykonos island?
Before presenting the complete 2023 list with the best hotels in Mykonos, I will like to say a few quick things about accomodation in this unique island.
To my opinion the best place to stay in Mykonos is the main town! You can find there luxurious accomodation or even some affordable ones! Also, you can relatively easy walk to the main village and old harbour where some of the “magic” is happening!
Note that unless you stay in the center of the Mykonos town, you will be walking downhill to get to the action! But, if you’re in the center of the action, then you will have crowds and noise–especially at night! It’s tricky and personal balance
Staying in Mykonos can be quite expesive, so you need to decide the budget that you can spend and then check also some alternatives places. You can also look at Ornos, Panormos, Platis Gialos, Elia Beach, Agios Ioannis and Psarrou. Below on our list you will find hotels all around Mykonos island.
Please take into consideration that hotels on Mykonos should be booked at least 6 months in advance specially for luxury accommodations. Note that July and August are the busiest months when advanced reservations are highly recommended.
Finally, you should know that Mykonos is one of the most windy islands in Greece, so you might take into considersation if you choose a place!

4.Kalesma Mykonos – Ornos
The suites are built into a hillside in that way, so every suite has the same beautiful views of the deep blue sea! The hotel is less than 1 km from Ornos and an 11-minute walk from Glyfadi Beach and it is designed to feel like a small village!
There is also a very interesting story behind this hotel. The area – where the hotel is now – was according to mythology, where the god Apollo’s horse stables used to stand!

e Kensho Psarou property is gorgeous and sits on a beautiful beach next to the famous Nammos beach club! The hotel is superb and the staff really exceptional!

6. Anerousses Mykonian Traditional Houses – Houlakia
The place is amazing with an incredible view of the sea and the island of Delos. It is situated on a hill, in a small quiet village just 10′ from the old town in Mykonos.
You will definitely enjoy the beautiful swimming pool with a view and a nice coffee or wine! the cafe. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean!
The staff is exceptional, very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is next to the lighthouse with the most beautiful view and sunset of Mykonos!

7. Lyo Boutique Hotel Mykonos – Super Paradise Beach
Lyo hotel is an amazing boutique hotel with exceptional staff. It has some amazing views and a great design with a luxurious feel!
The restaurant on site has great casual lunch options, and at night has an amazing sushi menu.

8. Alissachni Mykonos – Psarou beach
This was a brand new 5-star hotel villa and the location, view and accommodation are all superb!
The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful with everything including transport and restaurant bookings! The breakfast is fantastic. The beds are comfortable and the views will leave you speechless!
It’s perfect for couples! It’s away from the party scene, but yet only a 10′ by car or taxi!

9. Mykonos Bliss – Cozy Suites, Adults Only Hotel – Kalo Livadi
This is another new and excellent hotel! The infinity pool is just amazing and it will be your favourite spot on the property! Breakfast there is wonderful, as they provide a wide range of savoury and sweet options!
It is located uphill, which means that it can be challenging to get there, but the views of Kalo Livadi Bay and the Mediterranean Sea are breathtaking! More Information Here!
10. Lithos by Spyros & Flora – Agios Ioannis
This is a quiet place with all the facilities of a 4* hotel and a great value for money option!
The breakfast on the rooftop is just superb. The host Marios is the big plus here! He and the rest of the staff will do everything that they can so you will spend a nice time there!

Mykonos Ammos is a modern, super clean and just beautifully decorated boutique hotel at Ornos beach.
The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is really nice and it has a great selection of items!

12. Legendary Suites – Chalara, Mykonos town
This new boutique hotel is just wonderful and a good value for money choice! The rooms are furnished to a very high-quality standard and great attention to detail!
The hotel is exceptional with two swimming pools, a private jacuzzi, amazing views, nice breakfast and great service! It is in such a peaceful and calm place and the morning views are incredible!

Bellou suites is a wonderful property with amazing views of the ocean and Mykonos Town!
The rooms are spacious large, well decorated, very clean with comfortable beds. Close to town but still far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle!

Bluetopia Suites is in the perfect location next to Kastro’s Restaurant in Little Venice, and 200 m from Mykonos Windmills!
You will definitely feel spoiled with the wonderful interiors, the amazing views and the great service! If you’re going to Mykonos for a short time and you want to feel the energy of the town, then it’s a perfect place to stay!

A Mykonos is a family-run hotel with a great and friendly staff ready to accommodate you and guide you around the island!
The property is beautiful, the rooms are wonderful they are and kept very clean!

16. With-inn – Tourlos
Beautiful rooms, quite spacious overlooking the new port.
The location is not central to Mykonos town, and you can walk there (20′) or take the bus or rent a scooter or a car!

17. Baba Houlakia – Houlakia
I recommend having a car, however, it is not impossible to get around. The nearest bus stop is a 15min walk away or you may use the next door hotel’s shuttle.
Baba Houlakia is a small resort with a stunning sea view, away from all the noise of Mykonos town ~10′ by car.

19. Anastasia’s Visage – Mykonos town
Anastasia’s Visage is a perfect choice if you are looking for a value for money property in the heart of Mykonos town.
It is close to Little Venice and to many shops and to the bus stop, which is very handy for visiting all the beaches.!

20. Hermes Mykonos Hotel – Ano Mera
The hotel itself is very beautiful and clean but not too fancy.
It’s perfect for couples or friends! Views from the pool area of the bay are stunning, and a great place to watch the sunset for free! The service is excellent and the staff is always present and ready to satisfy the customer!
The swimming pool has some ultra-comfortable sunbeds, bath towels and there is a bar corner with smoothies and fresh juices! The location is quite good as it is a 10′ walk into Chora the town. You could walk back but as it is an uphill walk back, you can grab a taxi! More Information Here!
21. Argo Hotel – Platis Yialos Mykonos
This is a nice hotel, 150m away from the beach and 100m from the bus stop (there is a frequent bus connection, especially in high season!
The bus takes you to town in 10′. The rooms are super clean and quite spacious room and a delicious breakfast is provided!
