Updated on 01/01/2023. On this blog, we will present where you stay and which are the best hotels in Donousa!
Donousa is very small, and I think it makes sense to stay at the main village and port of the island Stavros.
Of course, you won’t find any big hotels or resorts there, but small studios and boutique hotels!
So, in this post we will present the best hotels and apartments in Donousa, plus tips, reviews and photos!
Quickly
- There is no airport in Donousa! Closer airport is in Naxos island and there is a daily connection betweeen Naxos and Donousa during summer!
- In case you go to Donousaby ferry then you can use Ferryscanner to book the ferry tickets! This is a Greek travel startup, and they have done a fantastic job! Also, if you are thinking of the island hoping this is the best platform that I have seen!
- Best Apartments in Donousa: Makares apartments and Stenosa.
- Best value for money: Althea Studios
- We have spent two weeks in Donousa and here you can find a complete guide about this beautiful island!
- Personally, I book all my hotels in Donousa through Booking.com, as nowadays it includes many apartments, just like Airbnb, and it’s easier and more reliable.
